Environment
We love real mountains – not the ones created by unnecessary landfill. That’s why we have mindfully and compassionately designed and sourced products, packaging and postage materials that are recyclable, compostable, bio-degradable, or ‘repurposeable’ so we don’t need to add more waste to the environment (wherever possible).
Loyalty
Loyalty to our family, friends, clients, stockists, suppliers and collaborators – sits as the heart of what we do. We like to bring a human side to our business and enjoy working with others who also love to laugh, relax and spend time building a relationship. We are about the people, and as such we will treat you and yours with honesty, integrity and transparency. It’s also what we expect back from others. It’s a two-way street that we love to walk.
Kindness
We have been raised to be kind to people, the environment and to animals. As children we always had an eclectic menagerie of pets and the love of nature continues to grow the older we get! We believe there is a space for us all on this planet – and have therefore created and sourced products that are fully inclusive, that consider the environment and yet still look beautiful within the home or workplace. This is the foundation from which we have we started the business and the anchor from which we revert back to when we need to make a decision. It’s that important to us.
Meet andie
Having worked in the corporate world for all my working life - a forced redundancy came as quite an emotional roller coaster for me. Leaving a job I loved and which I knew so well, was heartbreaking. So, I decided to take time to pause and just breathe.
In 2019 my sister, my sister-in-law and I took a course in candle making and we fell in love with it immediately! My sister and I set up Evoqua shortly afterwards with a mutual love and desire to create a considered scented candle range - made with beautiful aromas but with the environment at the heart.
The world changed through covid, and each one of us had to look at what we wanted to do with our lives, and through this time my sister decided to leave the business. Having dusted myself down and after having made a lifestyle choice - myself and David decided to move to rural Herefordshire on a farm!
We love it here, and we now have two gorgeous German Short Haired Pointer dogs; Teasel & Bramble! Life is busy on the farm as we have many renovation projects on the go, as well as maintaining the land and woodland - as well as running 3 businesses between us! But we are settled here - and we love going to bed exhausted each night - both mentally & physically!
In the spring of 2022, I decided to rethink Evoqua and how I could move the business forward. So, this year we have spent months rebranding, designing our new glass vessels, designing our gift boxing so it can be reused, testing many new scents, creating scented collections with new names - and building our new website.
Zoe plays a key role in the business too. She helps with designing and creating our website, is head of operations and is the designer of all our point-of-sale materials (@zoecrimesbusinesssupport). Chris is our graphic designer and supports the team in designing our logos, branding and imagery and print (@kaye&co_design). Finally, Martin @ayp_print and his team design & create all of our amazing reusable boxing.
We are now a team, and it feels amazing! Our journey will continue, and we hope you come along with us!

Meet Zoe
Well, where do I start about my infatuation with Evoqua. I just love everything that the brand stands for, and the passion that the whole team puts into everything. Andie touched on fate, and that's exactly how I was introduced to Evoqua. I had spent a few years in a job role that just wasn't me - but it paid the bills. Then the pandemic hit and like a lot of us, I was made redudant. I knew it was now or never to go it alone; so I set up my own little business.
I was fortunate to have an amazing ex colleague (friend) who really advocated for my business and pushed me to believe in myself, and during a chat one day she mentioned about her friend's fantastic candle business - well, as luck would have it, that fantastic candle business was Evoqua - and it's safe to say that Andie and I have never looked back. From what started as getting them set up on Pinterest, to the third website iteration (and last ;)!!) my time with Evoqua has been special, and the plans for the future are so exciting - Be sure to join us for the ride by following along on all of our socials.

Chris delivers brand and marketing communications projects for clients who range from sole traders through to FTSE 100 companies. Chris believes in the power of good design and its ability to strengthen communication and engagement between clients and their customers.
Meet the AYP Team
AYP is a family run business and as such we can swiftly embrace new digital technology in print production. We have enjoyed the design project with Evoqua, as it has involved creating a suite of reusable boxes and sleeves out of 100 percent recycled board, and we will continue to support the Evoqua team as they develop their range in the future. Exciting times ahead!
